We are living in a critical moment where the situations are getting difficult to deal with. Some people today find little reasons to be thankful. Most of them are battling with many challenges and struggles. These struggles seem to speak louder than the hope in them. Daily circumstance makes it hard for them to give attention to the chance of anything good. Some have a superiority complex, making them feel like they are entitled. These types of people believe that life owes them. People could be sometimes inconsiderate. They never notice the efforts that others put into a job. Nowadays, only a few people value contributions and hard works. Ungrateful people tend to be arrogant, selfish, unappreciative, and narcissist. In contrary to the statement above, grateful people are appreciative and ready to show love and kindness. Gratitude is a powerful emotion and can make your life better in several ways. Gratitude is related to happiness. Grateful people acknowledge the good things that they have in their lives. It gives them a feeling of contentment and satisfaction.
Gratitude stimulates hopefulness and cultivates a real appreciation. It helps us develop a positive viewpoint in life. It allows us to stop for a moment and meditate on something that we have instead of always wanting more. Showing gratitude can improve physical health. Show humility
Exercising humility is one of the keys to gratitude. To live humbly is a genuine approach to life. Humble people recognize the fact that they need other people. They acknowledge that at some point, they need assistance from their parents, friends, colleagues, and the environment.

Do not count the things that you do not have. Count your blessings. Reflect on what went well or what you are thankful for. Create a list of the nicest things that you have in your life and ponder upon it.
Smile
Avoid negative emotions and be resilient to stress. Put on your smile! Smiles can also lift you to higher frequency and open up your mind to see wider instead of focusing on what you are lacking of. Do not entertain the feeling of frustration. Think positive. Some days life might not show the way how you want to, but hold the beliefs things will get better if I intend to make adjustments and changes.

Music is powerful and can influence your mood. Listen to a song that conveys a positive message which helps you to be grateful.
Say Thank you.
You can make yourself glad by saying thank you when someone has done you a favor, whether big or small. It not only makes the other person feel appreciated, but it also improves your social life and relationship with the people around you.
Treasure your friends and family
Tell them once in a while how much you love them and how much you care for them. Compliment them. Make them feel that you appreciate all the things that they do for you. You can prepare something special for them. You can cook or give them a gift with a thank you note on it.
Reward effort
If someone shows kindness to you, return the goodness. Take notice when people make an effort. Reward them and thank them for doing a job well done.
Turn challenges into opportunities.
Stop complaining about life and think of ways how to overcome your challenges and turn them into opportunities. What did you learn from that challenges? What did you breakthrough? See the possible growth in your areas of opportunities.
It is not always easy to be grateful, but being grateful improves the quality of your life. It lessens depression, and it improves your mental health and well-being.
